POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
REFUND POLICY
Members wishing to obtain a refund must do so in person. Full refunds will only be considered during the first seven (7) calendar days of the membership. Thereafter, applications for refunds will be considered for medical conditions, provided proof is also submitted. A processing fee will be assessed for these refunds. The duration of a membership may not be altered for any reason, including freezing or transferring.
The tennis center will issue a refund for any camp, clinic or program canceled due to low enrollment. Refunds may be prorated based on attendance. Otherwise, no refunds will be issued.
In the event that you need to miss a lesson, clinic, or class, you must notify the office in person or by email at least 24-hours in advance of an absence. Late cancellations or no-shows will be subject to paying the full charge. Our teaching staff is scheduled based on expected attendance.
Please note: JCTP sessions have minimum and maximum enrollments.
JUNIORS MAKE-UP POLICY
Participants in the JCTP program are allowed a total of one (1) make-up class, regardless of the number of sessions they are enrolled in.

In the event that your student needs to miss a class, you must first notify the office in person or by email at least 24-hours in advance of an absence. Then email tenniscenter@binghamton.edu to schedule a make-up class. Once confirmed, we will add your student to the attendance list.

No make-ups will be given for no-shows or late cancellations. Our teaching staff is scheduled based on expected attendance. Make-up classes cannot be rescheduled.
WEATHER-RELATED CLOSURES PROCEDURE
Member, visitor and staff safety is paramount. During times of inclement weather, the Binghamton University Lane – Starke Tennis Center will carefully monitor local weather conditions and make facility operation decisions accordingly. Any changes to normal hours of operation will be posted on the website and on the main phone line, 607-777-3491. We encourage all members to consistently and carefully monitor conditions and check in at the center regularly, particularly our early morning and late night players.
